610mm x 1981mm rustic oak ledged & braced cottage door is a traditional button bead cottage door manufactured with solid oak (not veneered) planks for an authentic handcrafted look, the selected Oak timbers feature natural defects such as knots and mineral deposits to create a rustic olde-worlde look. Perfect for period properties, cottages, and barn conversions.

This 24 x 78 inch button bead cottage door is supplied unfinished with a rustic ledged and braced design that allows for a wider scope of hardware to be fitted. We supplied this door with a lock block and bracing pack that should be fitted, so the braces point up and away from the hinges. This solid oak door will look at its best with a clear lacquer or an Osmo door oil finish, other oils hardwax finishes may also be suitable for this internal door, please contact us for advice in this instance, and always refer to our door handling & finishing guidelines.
