Garage Door & Gate Chain Latch Bolt

Chain bolts are ideal for garage doors, gates, barn doors, and other tall doors where standard door bolts would be out of reach or difficult to operate. This chain bolt features a black enamelled case that measures 188mm long by 51mm wide, the bolt has a 29mm projection. The chain is 43cm long, and the strike plate keep is 50mm square and the tongue projection is 10mm.

This chain bolt features a spring loaded mechanism that retains the bolt in the extended position. This is a heavy duty door bolt and although it has a latch function (reversible for inward & outward opening doors) it is recommended that the bolt is retracted with the chain is when closing the door to prevent straining the door and frame. This door bolt is supplied with the keep and chain and will require suitable fixing screws.
