This CE marked Grade 12 hinge features concealed ball bearings and a polished chrome finish, this door hinge is suitable for standard doors & fire doors with a combined mass of up to 100kg. This fire door hinge is suitable for both FD30 & FD60 fire doors.

This 102mm concealed bearing hinge is CE marked and tested to BS EN 1935:2002 and manufactured from 2.7mm thick stainless steel and measures 4"(102mm)long by 3"(75mm)wide when fully open and featuring a polished chrome finish.

This 4" concealed thrust bearing hinge is supplied in single units complete with matching chrome screws. This chrome hinge is suitable for internal applications only, three hinges should be fitted to fire fated doors.

This concealed bearing hinge is supplied pre-lubricated by the manufacturer to ensure a smooth operation, after installation there may be signs of oil seepage, over time the oil will combine with atmospheric dust and darken in colour, to avoid the mixture of dust and oil acting as a grinding past on the bearings and accelerating wear it is recommended to clean the hinge periodically with furniture polish. Once signs oil seepage stop, a regular program of lubrication should start using WD40 or a suitable alternative.

In order to fully comply with BS EN 1935:2002 it is recommended that when this concealed ball bearing hinge is fitted to a fire door it should be bedded on a 2mm intumescent pad.
