Geocel Silicone Sealant Remover

Geocel Silicone Sealant Remover is a gel which will aid the removal of unwanted cured silicone sealant. Silicone sealant remover is ideal for removing old silicone sealant prior to re-application, as well as cleaning up areas where unwanted cured silicone sealant is present.

Geocel silicone sealant remover is suitable for use on; ceramic tiles, plastic, laminated board, glass, aluminium, and most painted surfaces.

Geocel silicone remover is easy to use and should only be applied to dry surfaces in dry weather conditions when the product is to be used externally.

Unwanted silicone sealant should be cut back as close to the surfaces as possible using a sharp blade. Mark off areas of correctly applied silicone and squeeze tube to liberally apply silicone sealant remover to the affected area. Allow to stand for two hours and wipe clean with a paper tissue or dry cloth to ensure all traces of solvent are removed.

If any traces of silicone sealant remain, repeat application. Treated surfaces should be degreased with a solvent such as methylated spirit before applying fresh sealant.
