Monkey tail bolts are so called because the handle resembles a monkeys tail, and the button end helps to grip the handle. This garage door drop down bolt can be fitted to the bottom of the slave leaf of side hung garage doors, and can also be used with heavy duty utility doors and gates etc.

This heavy duty drop down garage bolt has an overall length of 630mm with a maximum projection of 50mm. The mounting plate is 10" inches high (254mm) by 2" inch (50mm) wide.
