What is AR Plus Laminate?

AR-Plus (AB) laminate sheets are manufactured using multiple layers of craft paper impregnated with melamine thermosetting resin and fused together under very high pressure to produce what we call High Pressure Laminate (HPL). These 1.2mm thick laminates are normally intended to be bonded onto a substrate. AR Plus HPL is generally supplied as horizontal grade postformable (HGP). Postforming is a specialist technique of heating the laminate sheet to a high temperature that allows the sheet to be bent around curves.
